2000 Goodman DA17 Archtop/New Yorker Left Handed Electric Guitar

$3,000 $5,000

Brad Goodman, of Goodman Guitars, has been handcrafting amazing instruments out of Brewster, NY for nearly 50 years. His selection of woods, amazing eye for detail, and incredible ear for tone have been the ingredients to building some truly fantastic guitars.

This 2000 custom ordered Model DA17, based on a D'Angelico New Yorker in Lefty, is a shining example of his work. A beautifully made 17" x 3.25" bodied guitar was finished in natural, constructed with amazing curly maple on the back and sides, a fantastically grained spruce top with amazing projection, 3-piece flame maple neck, ebony board, ebony bridge, ebony tailpiece and is wired up with a Kent Armstrong hand-wound pickup. This instrument is just an amazing work of art from top to bottom that has all the tone and playability to match.

Overall, this guitar is in great condition, displaying honest player wear, a couple small dings and scratches in places, finish checking on the headstock, and some indentions in the fret wire between the 1st and 7th frets and binding shrinkage in places. The truss works perfectly and the neck is fantastic, just set up / restrung and ready to go!

Comes complete with hardshell case. Please email or call with any questions.
