In on trade and in fantastic shape, this PRS 509 in Violet Blueburst has barely been played. Part of a very large, very impressive PRS collection, believe it or not this beauty got lost in a sea of Private Stock and Wood Library models. So we are happy to find it home where it will be some one else's top dog! The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with thew guitar is the original hardshell case.

The 509 is loaded with tonal possibilities thanks to the proprietary pickups that come along with the model. While it may look like an HSH model, the neck and bridge humbuckers are actually compromised of single coils that can be accessed independently.

As one of the most versatile guitars in the PRS lineup, the 509 harnesses the power of 5 pickups to deliver 9 uniquely musical tones. The 509 starts with a 5 single coil platform - with the outside four coils grouped as humbuckers. An innovative switching system (a 5-way blade switch and two mini-toggle coil-tap switches), gives players an array of humbucking, singlecoil, and blended tones.

Unique appointments include a longer 25.25" scale length which adds upper harmonic sparkle and the PRS Gen III Patented Tremolo which provides impressive sustain.
